Pamela Lincoln

Community Partner Support Specialist

Pamela Lincoln serves as the East Region Extension Program Specialist for the Friend to Friend project, funded by the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas. The purpose of the Friend to Friend project is to encourage women to get regular mammograms and Pap tests for early detection of breast and cervical cancer, when the disease is most curable. Pamela supports county Extension agents in Districts 4, 5 & 8 by helping them plan, organize, implement and evaluate the Friend to Friend program in addition to doing what is needed to achieve maximum success. Her goal is to support county Extension agents to reach as many women as possible with a simple message: get screened regularly. Another goal is to assist as many women as possible in the East Region who do not have the resources for these screenings. Pamela also works with Jessie Bell, Patient Navigator, helping program participants with health system navigation, including but not limited to assisting with appointments, transportation and follow‐up with participants as needed.
